The SOL-GEL process
The basis of our coating is a superior synthesis method: the sol-gel process. Generally the so-called sol is produced out of a functionalised silan. This is stabilized and can be stored over months as a processable varnish with solid contents. The solvent and furtheringredients are hereby mixed acoording to the specific substrate type of application, as well as the substrate material. Our synthesis process is perfectly matched to the material glass and has been in use for over 20 years.
ANTIFOG COATINGS
A highly interwined, hydrophilic matrix, with a spontaneous water-spreading effect, comes into being by thermical curing and hardening of the nanostructures. A layer thickness of around 1μm is realized in the series. Due to the high transparency and long-time stability, this layer is perfectly suited for use in the industrial applications.
The condensation or fogging up of technical glass componets often leads to complaints.
With our antifog coating, you can put an end to this problem.
